High Manganese Steel Plate

High manganese steel plates are a type of steel with a high manganese content. This steel is primarily utilised in industries like mining and construction where strong impact and abrasion resistance are needed. HMS has a high manganese concentration, which makes it highly robust and durable even under challenging circumstances. It is much harder than most other forms of steel, with a Brinell hardness of between 200 and 250. This hardness is attained through a procedure known as water quenching, followed by annealing, which is a slow, controlled heating and cooling process. High manganese steel plates are mostly used in applications where toughness and strength are needed.
